PT. 7 AL-AN'ĀM CH. 6 وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ And We send not the. 49 Messengers but as bearers of وَمُنْذِرِينَ ۚ فَمَنْ أمَن وَأَصْلَحَ فَلَا glad tidings and as warners. So خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ b those who believe and reform themselves, on them shall come no fear nor shall they grieve. 795 وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِايْتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ الْعَذَابُ And those who reject Our. 50 بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُوْنَ Signs, punishment will touch them, because they disobeyed. قُل لَّا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ عِنْدِي خَزَابِنُ اللهِ وَلَا 1 :Say: “I do not say to you. 51 أَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ وَلَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ إِنِّى مَلَكَ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَى إِلَى قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى I follow only that which is possess the treasures of Allah,' nor do I know the unseen; nor do I say to you: ‘I am an angel. Commentary: All Divine Messengers have a sort of dual personality—a twofold mission. They bring glad tidings for one class of men and warnings for others. Those who accept them receive tidings of blessings and those who reject them receive warnings of punishments. Those who are weak should hasten to join the class of men for whom glad tidings are meant. They have no reason to fear; for, as 865 the verse makes it clear, if they accept the Prophets, "no fear shall come on them, nor shall they grieve!" 796. Commentary: The words, I do not say to you, I possess the treasures of Allah, imply that when the Quran says that the Messengers of God are the announcers of glad tidings, this should not be construed to mean that as soon as a person believes in a Prophet of God, he acquires wealth.
