CH. 5 AL-MA'IDAH PT. 7 يَايُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَقْتُلُوا الصَّيْدَ O ye who believe! kill not. 96 وَاَنْتُمْ حُرُم وَمَنْ قَتَلَهُ مِنْكُمْ whoso مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاءِ مِّثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ النَّعَمِ it game while you are in a state of pilgrimage. And amongst you kills intentionally, its compensation which he has killed, determined by two just men b يَحْكُمُ بِهِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِنْكُمْ هَدْيَّا بَلغَ is a quadruped like unto that الْكَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّارَةٌ طَعَامٌ مَسْكِينَ أَو as عَدْلُ ذلِكَ صِيَا مَا لِيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ اَمْرِهِ from among you, the same to be عَفَا اللهُ عَمَّا سَلَفَ وَمَنْ عَادَ فَيَنْتَقِمُ الله مِنْهُ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ brought as an offering to the Ka'bah; or as an expiation he shall have to feed a number of poor persons, or fast an equivalent number of days, so that he may taste the penalty of his deed.
