PT. 4 ĀL-E-‘IMRĀN and Allah loves those who do good. 432 R. 16. CH. 3 يَا يُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تُطِيْعُوا الَّذِينَ O ye who believe! if you. 150 كَفَرُوا يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوا خَسِرِينَ obey those who have disbelieved, they will cause you to turn back on your heels, and you will become losers. 433 بَل الله مولىكُمْ ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ your النَّصِرِينَ 151. Nay, bAllah is Protector, and He is the Best of helpers. سَنُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعْبَ We shall strike terror into. 152 the hearts of those that have بِمَا أَشْرَكُوا بِاللهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلُ بِهِ they disbelieved because سُلْطنًا ۚ وَمَا وَهُمُ النَّارُ وَبِئْسَ associate partners with Allah for مَثْوَى الظَّلِمِينَ which He has sent down no authority. Their abode is the Fire; and evil is the habitation of the wrongdoers. 434 a2:110; 3:101. 8:41; 9:51; 22:79. 8:13; 59:3. حسن 432. Commentary: The rewards of the next life are of various degrees, and such believers as have been described above will get the best of them. The word rendered as "excellent" does not necessarily indicate superlative degree, but is also used to express an intensified sense absolutely. 433. Commentary: It should be noted that Muslims are not enjoined here to have no dealings with non-Muslims; they are only warned against following such disbelievers as are enemies of Islam. 571 They should remain on the alert against these, though they need not fear them, because God is on their side, as pointed out in the next verse. 434. Commentary: The words, because they associate partners with Allah, signify that he who associates gods with Allah can never be truly brave, for he lacks complete devotion to anyone. It is only complete devotion that can inspire a person to make sacrifices. As a believer is completely devoted to the One God, therefore, he is ever ready to make every kind of sacrifice in His cause.
