CH. 2 AL-BAQARAH PT. 3 الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ الرَّبُوا لَا يَقُومُونَ إِلَّا Those who devour interest. 276 do not rise except as rises one كَمَا يَقُوْمُ الَّذِي يَتَخَبَّطُهُ الشَّيْطنُ مِنَ whom Satan has smitten with b insanity. That is because they الْمَسِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا الْبَيْعُ مِثْلُ ;say: Trade also is like interest الرَّبُوا وَاَحَلَّ اللهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرَّبُوا whereas Allah has made trade فَمَنْ جَاءَهُ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّهِ فَانْتَهَى فَلَهُ lawful and made interest unlawful. So he to whom an admonition comes from his مَا سَلَفَ وَاَمْرُةٌ إِلَى اللهِ وَمَنْ عَادَ Lord and he desists, then will فَأُولَبِكَ اَصْحَبُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَلِدُونَ ) that which he received in the past be his; and his affair is with Allah. And those who revert to it, they are the inmates of the Fire; therein shall they abide. 282 "3:131; 30:40. among the well-to-do towards their brethren and feelings of gratefulness among the poor for their benefactors. It also serves to distinguish sincere believers from the insincere. 282. Important Words: without finding the true way. ab means, he struck or beat him violently. means, Satan struck him and afflicted him with hurt or injury; Satan prostrated him (Aqrab). The ḥadīth defines as i. e. every loan advanced to draw profit comes under the definition of interest (Saghir). i. e. he struck خبطه abs (has smitten) is derived from or beat him violently; he trod him under his feet vehemently. bs means, he walked about in the darkness of the night 426 means, Satan brought pain and trouble on him. means, any pain or trouble, etc. that comes to a man by coming in contact with someone or something; it also signifies madness or insanity (Aqrab & Lane).
