Connection with Al-Fatihah Al-Fatihah, though connected with all the other Surahs, is specially connected with Al-Baqarah. The latter is the fulfilment of the prayer, Guide us in the right path, contained in the opening chapter of the Quran. Indeed Al-Baqarah, with its discourses upon the Signs, the Book, the Wisdom and the Means of Purification, constitutes an appropriate and comprehensive reply to that great prayer. 30
