157 Epilogue The pursuit of knowledge is something highly valued in Islam. The Quran teaches us the beautiful prayer: و َ ﻗ ُ ﻞ ۡ ر 7 ب ّ ِ ز ِ د ۡ ىن ِ ۡ ﻋ ِ ﻠ ۡ ﻤ ً ﺎ Meaning, “And say, ‘O my Lord, increase me in knowledge’” (20:115).
