Obey the Khulafa with True Sincerity — Page 1
(Delivered on 29 June 1917) After the recitation of tashahhud, ta'awudh and Surah Fatihah, Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih IIra recited the following verses: يَايُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَقُولُوا رَاعِنَا وَ قُولُوا انْظُرْنَا وَاسْمَعُوا وَ لِلْكَفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيم مَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَبِ وَلَا الْمُشْرِكِينَ اَنْ يُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ 10 Many people fail to exercise control over 1 0 ye who believe! say not 'Ra'ina,' but say, 'Unzurna' and hearken. And for the disbelievers is a painful pun- ishment. They who disbelieve from among the People of the Book, or from among those who associate gods with Allah, desire not that any good should be sent down to you from Lord; but Allah chooses for His mercy your whomsoever He pleases; and Allah is of exceeding boun- ty.
