In exchange for their submission, the enslaved individuals received assurance of shelter and sustenance from their master. Reflecting on the preface and the historical context of slavery that I have presented, it becomes evident that there are phases in human society where slavery is deemed necessary. However, the inherent flaws of slavery are as follows: 1. Complete deprivation of a person's freedom. 2. Lack of any advantages or benefits to the captive individual. 3. Coercion of an individual who possesses the capacity to discern right from wrong. 4. Inability of the individual to secure their free- dom. 5. Absence of compassion in the relationship be- tween master and slave. How can slavery be eradicated If such a law exists that addresses and removes fallacies from all the aforementioned aspects, it becomes the 13
