A Misconception Removed 5 Ahmadsa. Thus the Prophethood of Muhammadsa, in the final analysis, returns to Muhammadsa, albeit by way of Burūz, 11 and to no one else. So, the verse: مَا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِنْ رِجَالِكُمْ وَلَكِنْ رَّسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّنَ 12 means that: لَيْسَ مُحَمَّدٌ اَبَا أَحَدٍ مِّنْ رِّجَالِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَكِنْ هُوَ اَبْ لِرِجَالِ الْآخِرَةِ لِأَنَّهُ خَاتَمُ النَّبِيِّينَ وَلَا سَبِيلَ إِلَى فُيُوضِ اللَّهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ تَوَ مُّطِهِ 13 In short, my Prophethood and Messengership is only by virtue of my being Muhammada and Ahmadsa, and not in my own right; and I have been given this name because of my complete devotion to the Holy Prophetsa. This does not in any way change the true connotation of Khatamun Nabiyyīn, but the descent of Jesusas from heaven would certainly change it. It should also be remembered that the literal mean- ing of Nabī14 is one who discloses the unseen after 11 Burūz: Spiritual manifestation; or the person erson who is the spiritual mani- festation of a Prophetas or Saint.
