بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّالِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَفْضَلِ الرُّسُلِ وَخَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ ANNOUNCEMENT [About Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya] Being inspired and commanded by God Almighty, I have undertaken the compilation of a book named Barāhin-e- Aḥmadiyya, with the object of reforming and rejuvenating the religion, which is accompanied by a reward of Rs. 10,000. The gist of this book is to show that the only true and the only revealed religion by means of which one might know God to be free from blemish, and obtain a heartfelt conviction as to the perfection of His holy and perfect attributes is the religion of Islam, in which the blessings of truth shine forth like the sun, and the impress of veracity is as vividly bright as daylight. All other religions are so palpably and manifestly false that their principles cannot stand the test of reasoning nor can their fol- lowers experience any measure of spiritual enlightenment and edification by putting into practice these principles. On the contrary, following these principles makes one so innately blind and dark hearted that signs of future misery among the follow- ers become apparent even in this world. This book has established the truth of the religion of Islam in two ways: 1. In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. [Publisher] 2.
