678 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI UL-WASĀWIS prevail over the other Muslims-who are jealous of you and are hostile to you—till the Day of Judgment. God will not forget your supporters and will not lose sight of them and they will have their reward according to the degree of their devotion. You are to me as the Prophets of Banī Isrā'īl [Israelites] (that is: You resemble them as a reflection 1*). You are to Me as My Tauhid [Oneness]. You are of Me and I am of you. The time is approaching—indeed, it is near- r-when God will put your love in the hearts of kings and nobles until they will seek blessings from your garments. you who deny and who oppose the truth! If you are in doubt concerning My servant, if you deny the grace and bounty that I have bestowed upon My servant, then produce some true sign concerning yourselves like this Sign of mercy, if you are truthful. If you are unable to produce it—and be sure you will never be able to produce it—then be mindful of the Fire which has been prepared for the disobedient, the liars, and the trans- gressors. (The end)] Written by, Humbly, Ghulam Ahmad, author of Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya From: Hoshiarpur, house of Shaikh Mehr Ali, the Chief 20 February 1886* Printed at Riyāḍ-e-Hind Press Qadian 1. Footnote: The perfection of a 'follower' of a Prophet is that he may incul- cate a complete resemblance with the Prophet whom he follows, indeed with all the Prophets, peace be upon them. This is the truth and ultimate objective of following, which has been enjoined upon us in Surah Fātiḥah. Indeed, that is the what the human nature demands. For the same reason, Muslims give the names of Prophets to their children—for example ‘Īsā, Dāwūd [David], Musā [Moses], Ya'qub [Jacob], Muḥammad, may peace be upon all of them― as a good omen. The idea is that they may be endowed with the same morals and blessings by way of reflection. Think about it. (Author)
