FOR THE ATTENTION OF FRIENDS Although there was no need for another reminder, on account of the burning restlessness that dwells in my heart for serving the ultimate cause of the Faith, I am writing these few lines by way of a reminder. O Jama'at of sincere devotees, may God Almighty be with you. At this time, we are confronted with the opposition of all nations. We hope from God Almighty that if we do not give up and remain engaged in serving Islam with all our heart, all our effort, and all our attention, then victory will be ours. Therefore, strive for this task as much as possible. We urgently need to put together three things right now, and all our efforts to publish the verities and insights of the Faith revolve around them. First, we need to have at our disposal at least two printing presses; second, we need a scribe with good handwriting; and third, paper. An estimate of 250 rupees per month has been made to accomplish all these three tasks. All friends should join in this dona- tion urgently and without hesitation in accordance with their resolve and capacity. This donation should arrive without fail every month on a specified date. For now, it has been proposed to complete the remaining part of Barahin[-e-Ahmadiyya], and to start a newspaper. Other papers will be published as new needs arise from time to time. Since this entire enterprise is dependent on donations, please consider how much you can send monthly on a regular basis before making a pledge. O soldiers of the Faith! Strive, for this is the time for striving. Rouse your hearts for the sympathy of the Faith; for, these are the days for displaying such zeal. Now you cannot please God Almighty through any other deed as much as showing sympathy for the Faith. Therefore, wake up, arise, and be alert, marching forward for serving the Faith with such vigour that even the angels in heaven exclaim: [May
