562 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI‘UL-WASĀWIS opposition and contest, depriving them of weapons and arms, and reducing them to helplessness. Cutting off their feet means repelling all their arguments, closing upon them all ways of escape, and convicting them and reducing them into the position of prisoners. This is all the grace of Allah, who has power over everything. He punishes whom He wills and has mercy on whom He wills. He vanquishes whom He wills and bestows victory upon whom He wills, and no one can frustrate Him. Surely, those who rejected His Prophets, tortured His chosen ones, denied the Signs of Allah and their encounter with Him, are the ones who have been left with no hope of receiving His kindness. It is this bad faith and their arrogance that have destroyed them. Thus, their efforts bore no fruits and they were destroyed. Oye who believe! Fear Allah and do not fall behind when someone calls you to Allah. Join the truthful. Certainly, I have given you the message of my Lord and have advised you. I feel pity for those who do not like the advisers.
