ADDRESS 17 He gave me the glad tidings of triumphs from Him and the support of His hosts. He said: لَا تَخَفْ إِنَّنِي مَعَكَ. وَمَاشٍ مَعَ مَشْيِكَ. أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةٍ لَا يَعْلَمُ الْخَلْقُ. وَجَدتُّكَ مَا وَجَدتُّكَ. إِنِّي مُهِيْنٌ مَنْ أَرَادَ إِهَانَتَكَ. وَإِنِّي مُعِيْنٌ مَنْ أَرَادَ إِعَانَتَكَ. أَنْتَ مِنِّي وَسِرُّكَ سِرِّي وَأَنْتَ مُرَادِي وَمَعِي وَجِيَّةٌ فِي حَضْرَتِي اخْتَرْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي. [Be not afraid, I am with you and walk along with you. You have a standing with Me of which people have no notion. I have found you that which I have found you. I shall humiliate him who designs to humiliate you, and I shall help him who designs to help you. You are from Me, your secret is My secret, you are My purpose and are with Me. You have a high standing in My presence. I have chosen for Myself. ]. you These are the glad tidings which my Lord and my Refuge gave me at the time of my need. By God! Even if all the kings of the world were to obey me and all the treasures of the world were to be granted to me, it would not have gladdened me to the extent that this has. my Lord! I have been filled with your blessings and have been made to drink from the oceans of Your favours. O my Lord! Take my gratefulness to the entire expanse of Your heaven; come and enter in my heart with all Your splendour. I have chosen You and Your Messenger over everyone besides You. I have been detached from my own self and have come to You seeking Your pleasure. Here are my verses for You. You alone are my - Beloved, inner and outer Attire. my یار آمیزد مگر با ما بخاک آمیختیم یختہ ننگ و نام و عزت دنیا ز دامان ر We have shunned all honour and glory from our threshold, And we have reduced ourselves to dust should our Friend meet us. و از پئی وصل نگاری حیله ها انگیختیم دل بدادیم از کف و جان در رحمی انداختیم We happily gave away our heart and threw our soul in His path, And to meet that Beloved we strove in every way.
