ADVICE & A CALL TO ISLAM ہمی بینم که دادار قدیر و پاک می خواهد که باز آن قوت اسلام و آن شوکت شود پیدا I see that it is the will of God—the Almighty and Holy— That Islam arise, once again, to its power and glory. بلائے او بگردان گر گہے آفت شود پیدا کریما صد گرم کن بر کسے کو ناصر دین است O my Benevolent God! Shower abundant graces upon the one who is a helper of the Faith, And if a calamity befalls, do avert it. چنان خوش دار او را اے خدائے قادر مطلق که در هر کاروبار و حال او جنت شود پیدا O God, the All-Powerful! Keep him so content, That his every situation and circumstance manifest into Paradise. زہر در مے دہم پندش مگر عبرت شود پیدا دریغ و درد قوم من ندائے من نمے شنود Alas! My people pay no heed to my wailing and crying; I admonish them in every way—would they but take heed! مرا باور نمی آید که چشم خویش بکشانند مگر وقتیکه خوف و عفت و خشیت شود پیدا I do not believe that they will open their eyes, Until they cultivate righteousness, piety, and fear of God. مراد خال و کذاب و بتر از کافران فهمند نمی دانم چرا از نور حق نفرت شود پیدا They deem me to be a deceiver, liar, and worse than disbelievers. I cannot understand why they hate the light of God. که از حق چشمه حیوان در ین ظلمت شود پیدا عجب دارید اے نا آشنایان غافلان از دین Are you amazed-O ye heedless and careless of the Faith!— That amidst this darkness, a fountain of life sprung forth from God? 3
