218 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI‘UL-WASĀWIS manner of the Resurrection, and of Heaven and Hell and Prophethood and Messengership, have been made as patent and obvious and clear as is the science of mathematics and some sections of physical science, medicine, and astronomy, what connection could such manifestly clear information have with salvation? When we know salvation to be the loving grace of the Glorious God which is granted to the righteous, truly sincere, and the truly faithful people who accept the Divine mysteries on trust, what truthfulness, sin- cerity and purity can be indicated by the knowledge of obvious facts? We clearly see that just as we are convinced that one half of four is two, so is a scoundrel of the first rank convinced in the same way. We accept conclusively the existence of thousands—nay, millions—of things in the world, and we do not have the slightest doubt regarding them, but can we receive reward for this belief? Definitely not. any That is why Almighty God has not revealed His Signs through His Prophets in the manner demanded by ignorant people throughout the ages. What person is there who denies the obvious truths? In short, the very foundation of the opinions of those subscribing to philosophy is flawed. They seek to include all matters of faith in the observed palpable sciences, and to prove the existence of angels, Heaven, Hell, and Almighty God just like much of the inhabited earth and many plants and mines have come to be discovered through contem- porary research. However, how can something that God Almighty has
