And that is, that the powerful works of God Almighty and mighty prophecies which are granted to those gifted with revelation or to the holy ones who have gained com- munion with their Lord, are a strong, conclusive, and certain proof of the existence and attributes of the Perfect, Loving, and Glorious Allah, glorified be His eminence. But alas! There are very few who seek God Almighty with a sincere heart, hungering and thirsting for the path leading to His cognition. The world is filled largely with people who pay no heed to the voice of the crier, and do not attend to the caller, and do not wake up from their sleep, in spite of the cries of one who tries to awaken them. Having been granted the grace and the ability, and having been permitted by God Almighty to do SO, I called upon all my opponents to verify this matter, but not a single one of them responded to me with a sincere heart and an honest quest for truth. And, had any- one attended to it, or even if anyone were to attend to it now, I am sure that the Living God, whose powerful works have always been a wonder for the rationalists, that Powerful and Self-Existent [God], who, from eternity, has been putting to shame and dishonouring the philosophers of this world, will bring home to him the truth by the manifestation of a bright Sign from the heavens. The greatest evil of the world, which is responsible for so many other evils, and which makes people forget the life of the Hereafter, is that most people do not have faith in God Almighty, as they should. Some people in this age openly deny the very existence of God. And some, although they verbally profess a faith in Him, do not really believe in Him, as is evident from their actions and thoughts—the evi- dence of their hands and feet. They are so deeply engrossed in worldly affairs that they never even think of death. This is also because darkness has enveloped the hearts of most people, and not a ray of the light of Divine knowledge remains in their hearts. Now, let it be clear that I have given complete proof for the exist- ence of angels, the sum and substance of which is that God Almighty who, in His transcendence and holiness, is better than all that is best,
