184 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI‘UL-WASĀWIS AUTHOR'S MARGIN NOTE An episode from my personal life of Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya: An Episode I recall that in the early days when I was Divinely appointed, I received this ilhām [revelation], which is recorded on page 2381 يَا أَحْمَدُ بَارَكَ اللهُ فِيْكَ مَا رَمَيْتَ إِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ رَمَى. الرَّحْمَنُ عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أُنْذِرَ أَبَاءهُمْ وَلِتَسْتَبِيْنَ سَبِيْلَ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ. قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ. Meaning that: Allah has placed blessing in you, O Ahmad. Whatever you did let loose, it was not you but it was Allah who let it loose. He [the Most Gracious God] has taught you the Quran so that you should warn the people whose forefathers have not been warned, and that the way of the guilty ones might become manifest; that is, so that the virtu- ous may be distinguished from the mischievous and the rebellious. And tell the people: 'I have been commissioned and I am the first of the believers. AUTHOR'S MARGIN NOTE About the pelting of stars on the night of 28 November 1885 Many types of Signs started appearing after these revelations. One of them is that on the night of 28 November 1885, which is the night before the day of 28 November, there was such a display across the sky of so many meteors, the like of which I had never seen in my entire life and so many thousands of brilliant flashes were moving in every direction across the expanse of the heavens that there is no other spectacle in the world which I can cite to describe it.
