174 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI‘UL-WASĀWIS mostly refers only to such manifestations. Otherwise, one should just reflect that the Sun of Truth [the Holy Prophet as] about whom the verse was revealed: وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَى إِنْ هُوَ إِلا وَحَى يولى 0 Meaning that none of his words or discourses proceeds from his own desire; that it is waḥy [revelation] in its entirety that descends upon his heart how can we think about him that he remained altogether deprived of the light of waḥy for lengthy durations of time?
