166 HADRAT MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD وَكُلُّ صَدُوْقٍ لَّا مَحَالَةَ يُظْهَرُ لَنَا الْفَضْلُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَأَنْفُكَ رَاغِمْ I have been granted respect and honour in the world while you are afflicted with disgrace; Every truthful person is eventually granted victory. عَلَوْنَا بِسَيْفِ اللَّهِ خَصْمًا أَبَا الْوَفَا فَنُمْلِي ثَنَاءَ اللَّهِ شُكْرًا وَنَسْطُرُ I have killed my enemy-Abul-Wafa-with the sword of Allah; Being grateful for this, therefore, I praise Almighty God. فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُ يُغْوِي الْأُنَاسَ وَيَهْذُرُ أَيَزْعَمُ أَنِّي قَدْ تَقَوَّلْتُ عَامِدًا Abul-Wafa thinks that I have intentionally fabricated falsehood; I pity his condition, for he is misleading people and uttering absurdities. فَأَضْحَى الْهُدَى مِثْلَ الضُّحَى يُتَبَصَّرُ أَرى بَاطِلًا قَدْ ثَلَّمَ الْحَقُّ جُدْرَهُ I witness that truth has shattered the walls of falsehood; Consequently, guidance has become manifest like broad daylight. وَكَانَ إِلى نِصْفٍ تَمَتَّى نُؤَمْبَرُ وَإِنَّي طَبَعْتُ الْيَوْمَ نَظْمَ قَصِيدَتِي Today I have published the verses of this qaşīdah of mine, While the month of November is almost half expired. كَذَلِكَ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ نِصْفُ كَمِثْلِهِ فَيَا رَبِّ بَارِكْهَا لِمَنْ يَتَذَكَّرُ Similarly, the month of Shaʻbān is also half gone; God my Lord! Make this qaşīdah a blessed one for those who seek to tread the path of guidance.
