In fact, comparing the memorial of the Anjuman to that of my Community is a wrong compari- son which, in logical terminology, is called false analogy, because Zatalli's writing does not contain any intellectual objection that it might stand in need of refutation, rather he only hurls filthy abuses out of sheer ridicule and mockery. His newspaper and pamphlet contain nothing but these abuses. To some extent, the connotation of the word 'Zatalli' that he has adopted for himself also reveals his character. Hence, sending a memorial against him was meant only to show how habitually abusive these people were and how unfairly they accuse us of using harsh language. Since my opponents have maliciously campaigned against me that my writings are harsh, rude and seditious, therefore, it was necessary to show some specimens of their writings to the Government as I have already shown some in Kitābul-Bariyyah. The memorial by my Community could have been compared and likened to that of the Anjuman only if my Community too had sought some repri- mand and punishment for Zatalli, and it is quite clear they have forgiven Zatalli in their memorial wherein they wrote that they did not want him punished. Now look, how morally commenda- ble this act is which the The Observer has intentionally concealed lest it fail in its purpose by disclosing the truth. In summary, Zatalli's real motive is nothing but to abuse, mock and ridicule but the true motive of the author of the trea- tise Ummahātul-Mu'minin is to raise objections and he has had recourse to harsh language only so that people, having been pro- voked, might not attend to his real objective.
