This digression aside, I now return to the point at hand and declare this policy completely wrong that we be provoked into anger after having suffered at the hands of our opponents or to file a complaint to the Government. People who claim to follow a religion such as Islam which teaches: كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ Meaning, you are a moderate people raised for the benefit of the whole of mankind, does it behove them if, instead of being beneficial to the people, they regularly engage in litigation, send memorials on occasions, file criminal suits, express anger, and never practice steadfastness? Just ponder deeply, those who show mercy to the lost require great courage; all their actions and intentions should be dyed in the hue of patience and forbearance. In this regard, the teaching God has given us in the Holy Quran is absolutely perfect and contains sublime wisdom that inculcates patience within us. It is a strange coincidence that when Jesus, peace be upon him, was commissioned by God Almighty under the Roman Empire, in keeping with the state of their subjection and weakness, God Almighty gave them the same teaching, that is, not to resist evil and when slapped on one cheek, to also turn the other.
