452 MALFŪZĀT - ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF URDU VOLUME 8 20 OCTOBER 1906 Şahib Noor of Kabul, may Allah be Pleased with Him The late Noor Şahib was mentioned. Addressing Ahmad Noor,¹ the Promised Messiahas said: May God bless him with Paradise. Hearing the news of his sud- den demise, I fell ill myself due to the shock, so I could not come out to offer the funeral. Maulawi Ahmed Noor mentioned that he [the deceased] had been reading the Holy Quran all night, and in the morning, he was sitting at the shop completely healthy, and suddenly death overtook him. Others mentioned that he was a righteous man. He had nothing to do with worldly quarrels and remained detached. The Promised Messiahas said that he had already left worldly rela- tions, migrated to Qadian, and made his abode here. 2 1. This gentleman was the brother of the deceased Noor Şahib. Both these brothers were the followers of Şahibzādah 'Abdul-Latif Shahidra. After ac- cepting the Promised Messiah, peace be on him, they migrated and settled in Qadian. (Compiler) 2.
