5 NOVEMBER 1904 47 5 NOVEMBER 1904 (In Qadian at the time of Maghrib) The Severity of the Plague Upon mention being made of the plague, the Promised Messiahas said: Along with the mention of the eclipses of the sun and the 1 moon, the Holy Quran also says اَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ which means that the plague will spread so much that no place of refuge will be left. These are the meanings of my revelation: عَفَتِ الدِّيَارُ مَحَلُّهَا وَ مُقَامُهَا [Temporary residences and permanent ones will be wiped out. ] The Person of Jesus the Messiah, Peace be on Him, has Proven to be a Source of Affliction Regarding the person of the Promised Messiah [of Nazareth], peace be on him, he said: His person has proven indeed to be an affliction for the world; that is, there is a close connection between afflictions and the person of the Promised Messiah [of Nazareth], peace be on him, since those who denied him became Hell-bound, and those who believe in him are also the fuel of Hell, as is clear from the 1.
