156 MALFUZAT - ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF URDU VOLUME 7 Afterwards, this humble one, the editor of al-Hakam requested prayers [from the Promised Messiahas] for the son of Maulawi Musharraf-ud- Din Ahmad. The Promised Messiahas responded: I have received his letter as well. Write to him saying that he should continue to remind me [to pray for his son]. A Revelation Maulānā Maulawī Abdul-Karīm reported that upon waking up yester- day, he found that these words, which are a revelation of the Promised Messiahas, were flowing from his tongue: آگ سے ہمیں مت ڈرا۔ آگ ہماری غلام بلکہ غلاموں کی غلام ہے۔ Do not threaten us with fire, for fire is my servant and indeed the servant of my servants. To this the Promised Messiahas said, 'I also received a revelation yesterday: چودہری رستم علی Chaudhry Rustam 'Ali. There was nothing more than this. '¹ 1.
