The Light of Truth — Page xvi
xvi THE LIGHT OF TRUTH-PARTS I & II that the solar eclipse had also occurred, which was visible in India and elsewhere, but not in Arabia. Thousands of Muslims accepted Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmadas as the Imam Mahdi as a result. Accordingly, Part Two of The Light of Truth is a detailed exposi- tion on the prophecy of the Mahdi's Ramadan eclipses. Remarkably, certain of his opponents remained hostile to the Promised Messiah and rejected these Signs, arguing that the hadith was inauthentic, misin- terpreted, etc. For this reason, the Promised Messiahas refuted every objection of his critics using the principles of Hadith sciences. Perhaps it is by Divine Providence that The Light of Truth is being published in 2025-the very year that lunar and solar eclipses once again appeared on the 13th and 28th of Ramadan, just as they did in 1894. The eclipses of 2025, occurring in the time of Khalifatul-Masīḥ V, Hadrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, may Allah strengthen his hand, stand as a heavenly reminder of the great Sign which occurred in 1894. The English translation of Nūrul-Haqq was prepared by Naveed Malik Qureshi of Additional Wakālat-e-Tasnīf, and reviewed by Ibrahim Ikhlaf in the International Translation and Research Office along with Reem Shraiky. Valuable help was provided by Tariq Malas, Zeeshan Khalid, Mustafa Siddiqi, Rubina Nasser, Omar Farooq, Kashif Baloch, Bushra Shahid, Sabahat Cheema, Shahzeb Athar, Nauman Hadi, Aadil Wahab Mirza, Mirza Abdul-Wahab, and others. May Allah bless them all for their contributions, and may the light of truth guide the seekers to the Imam of the Age. Amin. al-Hāj Munir-ud-Din Shams Additional Wakīlut-Taşnīf, UK July 2025
