لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ کُلِّہٖ

that He may cause it to prevail over all religions

لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ کُلِّہٖ

that He may cause it to prevail over all religions

وَاعۡتَصِمُوۡا بِحَبۡلِ اللّٰہِ جَمِیۡعًا وَّلَا تَفَرَّقُوۡا

And hold fast, all together, by the rope of Allah and be not divided.

اِمَّا شَاکِرًا وَّاِمَّا کَفُوۡرًا

Whether he be grateful or ungrateful.

فَمَنۡ شَآءَ فَلۡیُؤۡمِنۡ وَّمَنۡ شَآءَ فَلۡیَکۡفُرۡ

Wherefore let him who will, believe, and let him who will, disbelieve.

رَبَّنَاۤ اٰتِنَا فِی الدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَۃً

Our Lord, grant us good in this world.

وَاعۡتَصِمُوۡا بِحَبۡلِ اللّٰہِ جَمِیۡعًا وَّلَا تَفَرَّقُوۡا

And hold fast, all together, by the rope of Allah and be not divided.

بَلٰی ٭ مَنۡ اَسۡلَمَ وَجۡہَہٗ لِلّٰہِ وَہُوَ مُحۡسِنٌ فَلَہٗۤ اَجۡرُہٗ عِنۡدَ رَبِّہٖ ۪ وَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا ہُمۡ یَحۡزَنُوۡنَ

Nay, whoever submits himself completely to Allah, and is the doer of good, shall have his reward with his Lord. No fear shall come upon such, neither shall they grieve.

وَمِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّسۡتَمِعُوۡنَ اِلَیۡکَ ؕ

And among them are some who give ear to thee.

وَمَنۡ یُّؤۡمِنۡۢ بِاللّٰہِ وَیَعۡمَلۡ صَالِحًا یُّکَفِّرۡ عَنۡہُ سَیِّاٰتِہٖ وَیُدۡخِلۡہُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِیۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِہَا الۡاَنۡہٰرُ خٰلِدِیۡنَ فِیۡہَاۤ اَبَدًا ؕ

And whoso believes in Allah and does good deeds — He will remove from them the evil consequences of their deeds and He will make them enter Gardens through which streams flow, to abide therein for ever.

وَعَدَ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مِنۡکُمۡ وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَیَسۡتَخۡلِفَنَّہُمۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ کَمَا اسۡتَخۡلَفَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ ۪ وَلَیُمَکِّنَنَّ لَہُمۡ دِیۡنَہُمُ الَّذِی ارۡتَضٰی لَہُمۡ وَلَیُبَدِّلَنَّہُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ خَوۡفِہِمۡ اَمۡنًا ؕ یَعۡبُدُوۡنَنِیۡ لَا یُشۡرِکُوۡنَ بِیۡ شَیۡئًا ؕ وَمَنۡ کَفَرَ بَعۡدَ ذٰلِکَ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡفٰسِقُوۡنَ

Allah has promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will surely make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors from among those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them; and that He will surely give them in exchange security and peace after their fear: They will worship Me, and they will not associate anything with Me. Then whoso is ungrateful after that, they will be the rebellious.

فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ مَّرَضٌ

In their hearts was a disease.

اَخۡلَدَ اِلَی الۡاَرۡضِ

he inclined to the earth

رَبِّ اِنِّیۡ لِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡتَ اِلَیَّ مِنۡ خَیۡرٍ فَقِیۡرٌ

My Lord, I am in need of whatever good Thou mayest send down to me.

لَعَلَّکَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفۡسَکَ اَلَّا یَکُوۡنُوۡا مُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ

Haply thou wilt grieve thyself to death because they believe not.

کَمَا اسۡتَخۡلَفَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ

as He made Successors from among those who were before them
