When his eldest daughter was getting married, he placed the Holy Quran on top of all the gifts her family gave her and told her that this Holy Book was the most valuable gift. It was a very elaborate copy of the Holy Quran, with pages made of silk that were decorated with gold designs. The calligraphy cost 100 rupees, which was a lot of money at that time. The expenses for lining, colour, and illumination were extra. Haafiz Ghulam Rasool was blessed with seven sons and two daughters, all of whom he dearly loved. He took great care of their health and was never bothered by the biggest expenses. His dining table was always full of the best fruits like apples, pomegranates, and grapes.
