GLOBAL DISORDER & THE URGENT NEED FOR MUSLIM UNITY 23 "And if two parties of believers fight against each other, make peace between them; then if after that one of them transgresses against the other, fight the party that transgresses until it returns to the command of Allah. Then if it returns, make peace between them with equity, and act justly. Verily, Allah loves the just. ”1 This principle provides a fundamental blueprint for establishing peace in the world, since Allah the Almighty has given this clear guidance in the Holy Quran, the Muslim world in particular should adhere to it. Therefore, the requirements of justice and fair- ness must be fulfilled, and the governments of Islamic countries must also play their role in this regard. It should also be clear that when reconcilia- tion is sought, personal interests must not be given 1. The Holy Quran, Sūrah Al-Hujurāt, 49:10 [Publisher]
