of the matter is that God Almighty instils such love for that child in the hearts of the parents after it is born, that if this would not have been the case, the child would not be able to survive a single day. Furthermore, after the birth of a child, the mother's breast swells up with milk. In the same way, [God Almighty has provid- ed] air and water, etc. , for us. Moreover, God Almighty declares that everyone has to return back to Him, so if one does not [show grati- tude], they will have to face the consequences there [in the Hereafter]. Then, [God Almighty says in the Holy Quran]: وَإِنْ جَاهَدُكَ عَلَى أَنْ تُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا وَصَاحِبُهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًا وَاتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَتَابَ إِلَى ثُمَّ إلَى مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 1 And if they contend with thee to make thee set up equals with Me concerning which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not, , but be a kind companion to them in all worldly affairs; and in spiritual matters follow the way of him who turns to Me.
