FREE AT LAST 159 And I was fully convinced that the day was not far when God Almighty would fulfil this prophecy, and the flag of the Ahmadiyya Movement would be hoisted all over the country. At times, with- out even thinking I would instinctively say in Russian, 'We are the kings of Russia, and Russia is our country. During the one year I spent in Moscow, I was able to see the nature of the Russians and observe their habits, and it brought me to the conclusion that, generally speaking, these people have good hearts and possess an innate capacity to follow guidance and reform themselves. They just need time. When freedom of religious preaching comes to their land, then sincere Ahmadi Muslims of our Community will arrive here to convey the mes- sage of the One God. When that happens, Russians will convert to Islam not just one by one but, rather, wave upon wave-all with a staunch dedication to the message of One God. Although today satanic thoughts affect their minds and hearts, undoubtedly this autumn season will be followed by the spring. Pious souls will awaken from their deep slumber and will bow their heads upon the Threshold of their beloved Creator. Then, in this new age will the bond of love and sincerity be reborn between the Creator and His creation. And this prayer of the Promised Messiahas to God will be fulfilled in the land of Russia: پھیر دے میری طرف اے ساریاں جگ کی مہار Do turn the tide in my favour, O Driving Force of the universe! The Promised Messiahas so passionately expressed the following words with absolute conviction in his Arabic poem:
