In this very same poem, Huzoor also stated: جس میں کہ تیرا نام چھپانا پڑے ہمیں۔ اس زندگی سے موت ہی بہتر ہے، اے خدا Death itself is better than this life—O Lord!— in which concealing Your name we be compelled. حرفِ غلط کی طرح مٹانا پڑے ہمیں۔ پروا نہیں جو ہاتھ سے اپنے ہی اپنا آپ It matters not that our own selves by our own very hands- as if words misspelled—be erased should we be compelled. روئے زمین کو خواہ ہلانا پڑے ہمیں۔ محمود کر کے چھوڑیں گے ہم حق کو آشکار O Mahmood, we will leave the Truth openly proclaimed, the entire earth be shaken should we be compelled.
