PRODUCING FRAUDULENT EVIDENCE 89 cell. I found all this frightening that they were taking me some- where in the middle of the night. Plus, I wanted to bid farewell to my cellmates. Fortunately, just then a young Turkish inmate named Ghulam Rasool woke up who had always been kind and sympathetic towards me. I discreetly gestured for him to wake up Abdullah Khan and the other Ahmadi Muslims in the cell. While he did that, I asked the soldier to allow me to use the restroom. By the time I had completed using the restroom and performing wuzu [ablution for Prayer] and returned to the cell, the others were awake. Abdullah Khan asked me where they are taking me this late at night. I told him I do not know where they are taking me but that they had ordered me to pack up my belongings and leave the cell. Ghulam Rasool went to my bed, organized all my belongings, packed everything up for me, and delivered it to the soldiers outside the cell on my behalf. All of this happened only by the grace of God Almighty. My enemies had eagerly awaited this moment for so many days to have the opportunity to plant fake evidence on me. When leaving the room, I specifically addressed Abdul Qadir by saying, 'My brother, I especially request you that for the sake of God Almighty, forgive me for any of my mistakes. ' Already worried about so many people being awake when he expected them to be asleep, my statement seemed to embarrass him quite a bit. I'm sure he was disappointed that he was not able to carry out his deceptive mission. I noticed that Abdullah Khan began weeping heavily after hearing me say these words to Abdul Qadir. Since my Quran was in another cell as I had allowed another inmate to borrow it, I asked the soldier to bring it back to me, which he then did.
