HADRAT MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD AS 25 just mentioned was assumed to be absent, then the absence of the contingent would have to be assumed as well. In other words, if there is no such thing as the being of God, then nothing else can exist either. Hence, to say that if God does not exist, no other thing will exist is synonymous with saying that if God would not have existed, no other thing would have existed either. This proves that the being of God Almighty is the very cause for the existence of other things and the essential definition of being the Creator is that the existence of the Creator must be the cause for the exist- ence of creation.
