هاد هَادَ pleasant and wholesome (4:5). هان لک aor. يَهُودُ inf. noun هَوْدٌ [ : He returned from evil to good or from good to evil; he repented and returned to the truth. تَهَوَّدَ means the same thing. إِنَّا هُدْنَا إِلَيْكَ : We have turned to Thee )7:157(. هَادَ and تَهَوَّدَ : He became a Jew . وَالَّذِيْنَ هَادُوْا وَالنَّصَارَى : Those who were Jews and the Christians (263) : made him a Jew. فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ أَوْ يُنَصِّرَانِهِ : His parents make him a Jew or a Christian. لک هَرَّدَ : He went or proceeded gently or in a leisurely manner. هَرَّدَهُ : It (beverage or wine) intoxicated him and rendered him languish and caused him to sleep. هَرَّدَ : He rested; he slept; he was gentle. هَارَ ]aor. يَهُورُ inf. noun هَارَهُ هَوْرًا : He pulled it down; he demolished it. هَارَ الْقَوْمَ : He slew the people and threw them down prostrate. هَارَ or إِنْهَارَ : It became pulled down; it became demolished or fell into ruins; it tumbled down; it collapsed; it broke down; it cracked in its hinder part, remaining yet in its place. فَانْهَارَ بِهِ : So it tumbled down )9:109( هَائِرٌ or هَارِ : Falling down; cracking without falling; water-worn. عَلَى شَفَا جُرُفٍ هَارٍ : On the brink of a water-worn bank (9:109). هَانَ aor. يَهُوْنُ inf. noun هَانَ الرَّجُلُ هَوْنًا : The man was or became low, base, vile, contemptible, despicable, weak and at rest. هَانَ عَلَيْهِ الْأَمْرُ : The matter was easy and light to him. هَانَ also means he or it was or became gentle and easy. اَهَانَهُ : He held him in light estimation or in contempt; he despised him; he made light of him or it; he disgraced, abased humiliated or debased him; he rendered him abject, vile, mean, paltry, contemptible, despicable or ignominious. فَيَقُوْلُ رَبِّي اَهَانَنِ : He says, "My Lord has disgraced me )89:17( مُهِينَ )act. part. from وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَهَانَ مُّهِينٌ : And thay shall have humiliating punishment )3:17( مُهَانًا )pass part(. وَ يَخْلُدْ فِيْهِ مُهَانًا : And will abide therein disgraced )25:70( هَوْنُ : Ease dignity. اِمْشِ عَلَى هَوْنِكَ : Walk with ease or with dignity. هَذَا الشَّيْءُ هُوْنُ : This is a contemptible thing. يَمْشُوْنَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا : They walk on earth in a dignified manner )25:64( هُونٌ : Disgrace; humiliation تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُرْنِ : You shall 808
