همز هلک 28 هَلَكَ aor. يَهْلِكُ and يَهْلَكُ inf. noun هَلاكًا and هُلْكًا and مَهْلِكًا[ : He died (used generally in a bad sense); he or it perished or came to naught; he or it came to an end and became non-existent. ان امْرُؤٌ هَلَكَ : If a man dies )4:177( لِيَهْلِكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ : So that who had already perished should perish )8:43( هَلَكَ عَنِّى سُلْطَانِيَهْ : My authority perished from me )69:30( أَهْلَكَهُ : He destroyed him or it; he brought him or it to naught; he caused him to perish; he punished him. وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا الْقُرُوْنَ : And indeed We destroyed the generations )10:14( هَالِ : One who perishes (act. part. from كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هَالِكٌ هَلَكَ : Everything will perish )2889( هَالِكِيْنَ is plural in the passive voice )12:86( اَلتَّهْلُكَةُ )syn with هَلاكَةٌ( : Destruction; ruin perdition. وَلا تُلْقُوْا بِأَيْدِيكُمْ إِلَى التَّهْلُكَةِ : Do not cast your selves into ruin with your own hands )2:196( مُهْلِكٌ )act part from أَهْلَكَ( : One who destroys )7:165( اللَّهُ مُهْلِكُهُمْ : Whom Allah is going to destroy )7:165( مُهْلِكُوْنَ and مُهْلِكِيْنَ plurals of مَهْلِكٌ (17:59:23:49) مُهْلِكٌ : Destruction; ruin. جَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِمْ مَوْعِدًا : We have appointed a fixed time for their destruction )18:60( مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِ : We witnessed not the destruction of his family )27:50( مَهْلَکَ : Time and place of destruction. 28 هَلْمٌ ]Is both transitive and intransitive] : Come, Bring forth or produce; cause to come; here; well; up with. هَلُمَّ شُهَدَاءَ كُمْ : Bring forward your witnesses (6:151). هَمَدَ ]aor. يَهْمُدُ inf. noun هَمَدَتِ النَّارُ هُمُوْدًا : The fire became extinguished entirely. هَمَدَ : He died he perished: هَمَدَتِ الرِّيحُ : The wind became still هَمَدَتِ الْاَرْضُ : The earth became lifeless, without herbage without wood and without rain. وَ تَرَى الْأَرْضَ هَامِدَةً : And thou seest the earth lifeless )22:6(. هَمَرَ aor. يَهْمُرُ and يَهْمِرُ inf. noun هَمَرَ الْمَاءَ هَمْرٌ : He poured out or forth the water. هَمَرَ الْبِنَاءَ : He demolished the building. هَمَرَ الْكَلامَ أَوْ فِي كَلامِهِ : He talked much اِنْهَمَرَ الْمَاءُ : The water poured forth; the water flowed. بِمَاءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍ : With water pouring down )54:12(. هَمَزَ aor. يَهْمِزُ inf. noun هَمَزَهُ هَمْرٌ : He pressed squeezed or pinched it; he impelled or repelled him or it; he goaded or urged him; he 806
