مار مَارَ مال tendency to vomit and a giddiness by reason of intoxication or of voyaging upon the sea. مَادَتْ بِهِ الْاَرْضُ : The earth went round with him. مَادَ also means he bestowed a favour; he gave provisions for travelling. أَنْ تَمِيْدَبِكُمْ : Lest it quake with you )16:16( مَائِدَةٌ : A table with food upon it; )5:115(. aor. يَمِيرُ inf. noun مَارَ أَهْلَهُ : مَيْرٌ : He brought or purchased provisions (corn and food, victuals of any kind) for family. نَمِيرُ أَهْلَنَا : We shall bring provisions for our family )12:66(. مَازَ aor. يَمِيزُ inf. noun مَيْرٌ[ : He separated it from other things. اِمْتَازَ or تَمَيَّرَ : It was or became separated from other things. إِمْتَازُوا الْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ : Get separated (from the righteous), O you the guilty ones )36:60( تَمَيَّزَ فُلانٌ بِالْكَرَمِ : Such a one became distinguished by generosity. تَمَيَّزَ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ : The man became burst on account of anger. تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ : It would almost burst with fury )67: 9( الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ : So that Allah ليَمِينَ اللهُ الخير مَالَ مَيْلُوْلَةً and تَمْيَالا and مَيْلانًا and مَمِيلًا and مَيْلاً inf. noun يَمِيْلُ . aor] مَالَ may separate bad from the pure (8: 38). إِلَيْهِ : He inclined towards him or it. مَالَ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ : He deviated from the right path مَالَ عَلَيْهِ : He turned against him; he attacked him. فَيَمِيْلُوْنَ عَلَيْكُمْ مَّيْلَةً وَّاحِدَةً : They may fall upon you at once. آن فَلا تَمِيلُوْا كُلَّ (4:28) That you should stray far away : تَمِيلُوْا مَيْلاً عَظِيمًا الْمَيْلِ : But incline not wholly )4:130( مَيْلٌ أَوْ مَيْلَةٌ : Inclination. 764
