قلم قمض )3:18( قَلِيْلُوْنَ plural of 26:55) قَلِيْلٌ( and أَقَلُّ قَلِيْلَةٌ comparative degree meaning less. أَقَلَّ مِنْكَ مَالاً : Less than thyself in riches (18:40). 28 قَلَمَ ]aor. يَقْلِمُ inf. noun قَلَمَ الشَّيْءَ . [ قَلْمًا and قَدَّمَهُ : He cut the thing. الظُّفْرَ : He cut the nail which was long. قَلَمٌ : A writing reed a reed pen; a pen )682( اقلام )plural( 31:28( قَلَمٌ is so called when it is cut and prepared for writing.
