غاب غار men. الْتَقَى الْغَارَانِ : the two armies met. إِذْ هُمَا فِي الْغَارِ : When the two were in the cave )9:40( مَغَارَاتٌ) : مَلْجَاً أَوْ مَعْرَاتٍ plural of مَغَارَةٌ syn. غَارٌ( : Place of refuge or caves )9:57( غَوْرٌ : The bottom or lowest part of anything. هُوَ بَحْرٌ لا يُدْرَكُ غَوْرُهُ : He is a sea whereof the bottom cannot be fathomed. فُلانٌ بَعِيْدُ الْغَوْرِ : Such a one is deep and excellent in judgement, one who examines deeply; low and depressed land; applied to water, it signifies going away or sinking into the earth. أَوْ يُصْبِحَ مَاؤُهَا غَوْرًا : Or its water will become sunk into the earth( )18:42( أَغَارَ عَلَى الْعُدُوّ : He made a sudden raid upon the enemy. إِلَى قَوْمٍ وَبِهِمْ people to help them اَغَارَ الْفَرَسُ : The horse ran vehemently and was quick in sudden attack. مُغِيرٌ : A horse swift or vehement in running (feminine خَيْلٌ مُغِيْرَةٌ مُغِيْرَةٌ : Horses making a sudden attack upon the enemy; horses urging themselves against a people. الْمُغِيْرَاتِ )plural( )1004( اَغَارَ : He went far into the country. أَغَارَ عَيْنَيْهِ : He made his eyes to sink. آغَارَ إِلَى : He came to the غَاطَ aor. يَغُوْطُ inf. noun غَاطَ فِي الشَّيْءِ غَوْطٌ : It or he entered into the thing. غاط : It a place) sank or became depressed. غَاطَ الْحُفْرَةَ : He dug the pit. غَائِطٌ : A wide, depressed piece of ground but not much pressed; a place in which one satisfies one's want of nature, the custom being to do so in a depressed place where one is concealed. أَتَى الْغَائِطَ and ضَرَبَ الْغَائِطَ : He satisfied a want of nature, voided excrement. غَائِطٌ means human excrement or ordure because they used to cast it away in a غَائِطٌ or because they used to go thither to satisfy a want of nature (4:44). غَابَ aor. يَغِيْبُ inf. noun غَيْبَةٌ and غَيْبٌ and غَيَابٌ or غِيَابٌ and غُيُرْبٌ and غُيُوْبَةٌ and غَيُوْبَةٌ and غَيْبُوْبَةٌ and غَابَ عَنْهُ غَيْبَةٌ : He or it was or became absent from him or distant or remote from him, or hidden or concealed from him, or absent from the range, or beyond the reach of mental perception غَابَ )inf. noun غَيْبَةٌ also said of the mind, meaning: It was or became absent. غَابَ الرَّجُلُ : The man journeyed and went far away. غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ )inf. noun غَيَابٌ and غَيْبُوْبَةٌ ( : The sun set. غَابَ الشَّيْءُ فِى الشَّيْءِ )inf. noun غِيَابَةٌ and غِيَابٌ and غِيْبَةٌ( : The thing became hidden in the thing or 628
