ام The particle ها used as an inceptive to give notice of what is about to be said is prefixed to it. هؤلاء means these as هذا means 'this'. هَؤُلَاءِ قَوْمُكَ : These are thy people. The of allocation is added to it so that you say أُولئِكَ or أُولَئِكَ and أُولِيكُمْ ,all meaning "these" like as and ذلِکَ means "that". When one says اولیک the singularis ذلِکَ and when one says أولاك the singularis أولى ذَاكَ is likewise a plural having no proper singular and means "they who", "those which" and simply "who" and "which".
