صحف صد الْكَهْفِ : Dwellers of the Cave )18:10( أَصْحَابُ السَّفِيْنَةِ : Those who were in the Ark )29:16( أَصْحَابُ الْقَرْيَةِ : The people of the city )36:14( أَصْحَابُ السَّعِيْرِ : Inmates of the blazing Fire )67:11(. أَصْحَابُ السَّبْتِ : The People of the Sabbath. )4:48(. 6 صَحَّفَ ]aor. يُصَرِّفُ inf. noun صَحَّفَ الْكَلِمَةَ تَصْحِيفًا : He read the word wrongly. اَصْحَفَ الْكِتَابَ : He collected the written pieces in a volume. صَحِيفَةٌ : A written piece of paper or of skin; a writing; a book or volume; a letter; the record of actions of a person that is kept in Heaven. صَحِيْفَتُهُ سَوْدَاءُ : The record of his actions is black. صُحُفٌ )plural of صُحُفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوْسَى صَحِيْفَةٌ : The Books of Abraham and Moses: )7:20( الصُّحُفِ الأولى : The former scriptures or scrolls of Books )87:19( صَحْفَةٌ : A sort of bowl; a round dish صِحَاتٌ )plural of صَحْفَةٌ( : Trays يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِصِحَافٍ : To them will round dishes be passed (or round trays) (43:72). إِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ : When the books are spread )81:11(. 20 صَنَّ الصَّوْتُ الْأُذْنَ : [صَخْ : The sound deafened صَخٌ ]aor. يَصُخُ inf. noun the ear by its vehemence صَخَهُ : He struck him on the ear and rendered him deaf. صَخَّ الْغُرَابُ : The crow pierced with his beak into the gall on the back of a camel. صَخَّ الْحَدِيْدَ بِالْحَدِيدِ : He struck upon the iron with the iron. صَحْنِي فُلانٌ بِعَظِيمَةٍ : Such a one accused me of a great crime and calumniated me. الصَّاحَةُ : A cry that deafens by its vehemence; a severe calamity or misfortune (80:34). أَصْخَرَ الْمَكَانُ أَصْخَرَ : There became large number of rocks in the place. صَخْرَةٌ : A rock إِذْ أَوَيْنَا إِلَى الصَّخْرَةِ : When we took refuge on the rock )18:64( صَخْرٌ )and صُخُوْرٌ and صَخَرَاتٌ( is plural of صَخْرَةٌ and means, rocks or great masses of hard stone. جَابُوا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِ : صَدَّ Hewed out rocks in the valley (89:10). ]aor. يَصُدُّ and يَصِدُّ inf. noun صُدُودٌ and صَدَّ عَنْهُ [صَدُّ : He turned away, or kept back from him or it (intransitive(. صَدَّ السَّبِيلُ : The road turned aside. يَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْكَ صُدُوْدًا : They turn away from thee with aversion )462( اَرَى فِيْكَ صُدُوْدًا : I see in thee aversion. لاصَدَّ عَنْ ذَاكَ : There is no evading that. صَدَّهُ عَنْهُ )aor يَصُدُّ( )transitive(: He hindered him, prevented him or turned him away, from it. 471
