شاد شاع building high. شَادَ جِلْدَهُ بِالطَّيْبِ : He rubbed his skin with perfume, شَادُوا الدِّيْنَ : They strengthened and exalted the religion. شَادَ الرَّجُلُ : The man perished. شَيَّدَ الْبَنَاءَ : He built or made the building strongly and raised it high. شَادَ and شَيَّدَ are used synonymously. مَشِيدٌ )pass. part. from شَادَ( : Plastered with requisite material or gypsum high or lofty مُشَيَّدٌ : )pass. part. from شَيَّدَ( : Built strongly and raised high. Both are used as syn. with each other. : بُرُوْجٍ مُشَيِّدَةٍ مُشَيَّدٌ plural of) مُشَيَّدَةٌ (22:46) Lofty castle : قَصْرٍ مَّشِيدٍ Strongly built and high towers (4:79). ४० شَاعَ ]aor. يَشِيعُ inf. noun شُيُوعٌ and شَاعَ بِالْخَبَرِ شَيْعٌ : He spread, published, divulged information or a piece of news. شَاعَ الْخَبَرُ فِى الناس : The information became spread, divulged or manifest among the people. أَنْ تَشِيْعَ الْفَاحِشَةُ : That immorality should spread )24:20( شَاعَ الْإِنَاءَ : He filled the vessel. شَاعَ عَلَيْكُمُ السَّلامُ : May peace alight and abide on you and follow you. شَايَعَهُ عَلَى أَمْرٍ أَوْ عَلَى رَأَيَّ : )as also شَيْعَهُ(. He followed him and obeyed him and befriended him and agreed with him and strengthened him in an affair or opinion. شِيْعَةٌ : A separate or distinct party or sect of men: This is the primary signification, so called from their agreeing together and following one another; the followers and assistants and partisans of a man; any people that have combined in or for an affair; persons who follow and conform with one another. شيع is plural. The word شِيْعَةٌ is applied to one and to two and to a plural number and so the male and the female. الشَّيْعَةُ : The partisans of Ali. وَإِنَّ مِنْ شِيْعَتِهِ لَإِبْرَاهِيمَ : And of his party or followers was Abraham )37:84( وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا : And they became divided into sects )6:160( وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا اَشْيَاعَكُمْ : We have indeed destroyed the likes of you (54:52). 28 28 461
