ساد ساء who doevil (40:59). سَاحَةٌ سَاحَ : The court or open area of a house; a part of a house where there isnobuilding or roof; out-house; precinct; coast. فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ : When tdescends into their courtyard (37:178). سَادَ ]aor. يَسُوْدُ inf. noun سِيَادَةٌ : He was or became a chief, lord, master, possessed of glory, honour, eminence etc. سَادَ قَوْمَهُ : He was or became the chief of his people, or he ruled over them. سَيّدٌ : A chief lord, master; a prince or king; a woman's husband; a man of rank, nobility or distinction; the most generous, noble or high-born of a people; a liberal, bountiful person; clement; forbearing; one who is not overcome by his anger; one who surpasses others in intelligence; what is most eminent or exalted of anything. سَيِّدُ الْكَلَام : The best of speech. سَيِّدُ الْقَوْمِ : The chief of the people. سَيِّدًا وَّحَصُوْرًا : Noble and chaste )3:40( الْفَيَا سَيِّدَهَا لَدَا الْبَابِ : They found her lord (or husband) at the door )12:26( أَسْيَادٌ and سَادَةٌ We obeyed our : إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاءَ نَا سَيِّدٌ are plural of سَائِدٌ and لگ chiefs and our great ones (3368) is the plural of اِسْوَدَّ . سَادَةٌ : It or he became أَسْوَدُ i. e. black اِسْوَدَّ وَجْهُهُ : His face became blacki. e. his face became expressive of grief; he became grieved, sorrowful and confounded or perplexed and unable to see his right course by reason of shame or in consequence of a deed that he had done; he became disgraced. الَّذِيْنَ اسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوْهُهُمْ : Those whose faces will be black )3:10( مُسْوَدٌ : Black (from( وَجْهُ مُسْوَدٌ اِسْوَدَّ : A black face or a sorrowful face. ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًا : His face becomes black or darkens )16:59( مُسْوَدَّةٌ )feminine and plural( أَيَّامٌ مُسْوَدَّةٌ : Hard or difficult, grievous days. وُجُوهٌ مُسْوَدَّةٌ : Dark faces or faces darkened or blackened on account of shame or grief. وُجُوْهُهُمْ مُسْوَدَّةٌ : Their faces are blackened )3961( مُسْوَدَّةٌ : The original copy of a book or the like. اِسْوَدَّ : Greater and greatest in respect of estimation, rank or dignity; more or most liberal or bountiful هُوَ اَسْوَدُ مِنْ فُلان : He is greater in rank, or is more liberal than such a one . الْأَسْوَدُ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ : The most dignified or exalted or bountiful of the people (plural is أَسْوَدُ سُوْدٌ : Black black race. )سَوْدَاءُ feminine( . الْأَسْوَدَان : The serpent and the scorpion etc. ; dates and water. 420
