حصد حصحص a wind that carries along the dust and pebbles and a wind casting down pebbles from the sky; a punishment from God; dust containing pebbles; clouds or clouds casting down snow and hail; pebbles borne in the wind; small particles of snow and hail scattered about; a large number of men on foot. أَوْ يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا : Or He send against you a violent wind )1769( كَانَ يَوْمُنَا ذَا حَصَبٍ : Our day was one in which pebbles were blown about by the wind. حَصْحَصَ الرَّجُلُ حَصْحَصَ : The man walked like the walking of one who is shackled; the man strove or laboured hard; the man exerted himself; the man took extraordinary pains; the man exceeded the usual bounds in his affair; the man lay down upon his breast with folded legs حَصْحَصَ التَّرَابَ : He moved the dust to the right and the left. اَلْشَنَ حَصْحَصَ الْحَقُّ : Now the truth has become established; now the portion of truth (from حِصَّةٌ has become distinct from that of falsehood; now the truth has become distinct, apparent or manifest after concealment )12:52( حَصْحَصَ الشَّيْءُ : The thing became distinct or manifest after having been concealed. 28 حَصَدَ [حِصَادٌ and حَصَادٌ and حَصْدٌ inf. noun يَحْصِدُ and يَحْصُدُ aor] حَصَدَ الزَّرْعَ : He reaped or cut with sickle the seed-produce. فَمَا حَصَدْتُّمْ : And what you reap )12:48( حَصَدَهُمْ بِالسَّيْفِ : He cut or moved them down with the sword; he slew them with the sword; he exerted his utmost power or he exceeded the ordinary bounds in slaying them with the sword; he exterminated them with the sword. مَنْ زَرَعَ الشَّرَّحَصَدَ النَّدَامَةَ : He who sows evil reaps repentance. حَصَادٌ and 1) : حِصَادٌ( The time or season of reaping; )هَذَا زَمَنُ الْحِصَادِ : This is the time or season of reaping) (2) what remains of seed-produce upon the ground among the lower parts of the stalks of that which has been reaped; (3) what falls off and becomes scattered of seeds of leguminous plants when they dry up; (4) the fruit or produce of any tree. وَاتُوْا حَقَّهُ يَوْمَ حَصَادِهِ : And give His due on the day of harvest )6:142( حَصِيدٌ : Reaped seed-produce; mown down with the sword like reaped 186
