ثوى ثار ثَارَ people return time after time; a place where people gather after they have dispersed; an abode; a house; a tent is also sometimes called a مَثَابَةُ الْبِتْرِ مَثَابَةٌ : The place where the water of the well collects; the place where the hunter puts his snare. ثَوْبٌ : A garment. (plural )ثِيَابٌ( : Garments curtains of the house. تَعَلَّقَ بِثِيَابِ اللهِ : He clung to the curtains of the house of God. ثِيَابٌ : Weapons; the wearer's body or self; works of a man. اُسْلُلْ ثِيَابَكَ مِنْ ثِيَابِي : Withdraw or separate thyself from me. إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ يُبْعَثُ فِي ثِيَابِهِ الَّتِي يَمُوْتُ فِيْهَا : The dead will be raised in his garments in which he dies; according to the works with which his life ended. It is also used for heart of a person. ثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ : Purify thy garments; purify thy heart; rectify thy conduct. فُلانٌ نَقِيُّ التَّوْبِ : Such a one is pure in heart, conduct or reputation. دَنِسُ الثَّيَاب : Vicious or perfidious. حِيْنَ تَضَعُوْنَ ثِيَابَكُمْ : When you put off your clothes (24:59). ]aor. يَقُورُ inf. noun ثَارَ الْغُبَارُ ثَوْرٌ : The dust became stirred up and spread or rose and appeared. ثَارَ الدُّخَانُ : The smoke rose ثَارَ الْجَرَادُ : The locust appeared. ثَارَ إِلَيْهِ : He sprang towards him; he attacked him. ثَارَ الْمَاءُ : The water gushed forth. ثَارَتِ الْفِتْنَةُ بَيْنَهُمْ : Discord rose between them. ثَارَتْ نَفْسُهُ : He felt like vomiting. آثَارَهُ : He raised, roused, stirred up him or it أَثَارَ الْأَرْضَ : He tilled the land; cultivated it by ploughing and sowing. لَا ذَلُوْلٌ تُثِيْرُ الْأَرْضَ : Not broken into plough the earth )272( فَتَشِيْرُ سَحَابًا : So they raise a cloud )30:49( فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَفْعًا : So they raise the dust with it (100:5). ثَوَى ]aor. يَغْوِى inf. noun ثَوَاءٌ and ثَوَى بِالْمَكَانِ مَثْوًى : He remained, stayed, dwelt in the place; he stayed or dwelt long; he alighted and stayed in the place; he settled in the place. ثُوِىَ : He was buried. ثَوَى الرَّجُلُ : The man died. تَوِيٌّ : A guest; a captive; a chamber or house. مَثْوًى : A place where one remains, stays, dwells or abides. أَبُو الْمَثْوِى أَوْ أَمَّ الْمَثْوى : The master or mistress of the house or tent. بِئْسَ مَثْوَى الظَّالِمِينَ : Evil is the abode of the wrong doers )3:152( ثَاوِ : A stranger remaining or remaining long or staying or dwelling in a country or town. ثَاوِي بَلْدَةٍ : A وش 120
