بکت بل early in the morning a lasting punishment )54:39( بَكْرٌ : youthful he-camel; one in a state of youthful vigour (metaphorically applied to a young man). 28 بَكَّتَهُ بَكَّتَ : He reprimanded him severely; he overcame him with argument; he smote him or beat him. بَكَ الدَّابَةَ : He tired the beast in walking. الَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ : That is at Bacca (Месса( )3:97(. 28 بكم و بَكُمَ ]aor. يَبْكُمُ inf. noun : He was dumb, either by natural conformation or from inability to find words to express himself; he had not understanding to reply, nor ability to frame speech well, though possessing the faculty of speech; he was dumb and weak in understanding, silly or stupid, or he was dumb and deaf and blind by birth; he desisted from sexual intercourse intentionally or from ignorance. بَكُمَ ]aor يَبْكُمُ[ : He refrained from speaking intentionally or from ignorance. أَبْكُمُ )بُكْمٌ plural): Dumb either by natural conformation or from inability to find words to express himself; not having understanding to reply or the ability to make good speech or speak well, though having the faculty to speak; dumb and stupid. صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ : Deaf, dumb and blind )2:19( أَحَدُهُمَا أَبْكُمُ : One of them is dumb (16:77). و بَكَى aor. يَبْكِي inf. noun بُكَاءٌ and بَكُيَّ[ : He wept i. e. he shed tears; he lamented or grieved; he lamented and shed tears. بَكَى عَلَيْهِ : He wept for or over him. بگی also means, he sang. فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ : So the heaven and the earth did not weep over them, or for them or on account of them )44:30( أَبْكَاهُ : He made him weep; he did to him what made him weep إِنَّهُ هُوَ أَضْحَكَ وَأَبْكَى : He that it is Who makes people laugh and weep )53:44(. بَكِيٌّ and بَكَّاءٌ : One who weeps much. باک )act. part. n. ): One who weeps; weeping )بُكِيُّ is plural( خَرُّوْا سُجَّدًا وَبُكِيًّا : They fell down prostrating themselves and weeping (19:59). کی لگ بَلْ is a particle of digression signifying (a) the cancellation of what precedes as in بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُّكْرَمُوْنَ : Nayo nay rather, or nay but, they are honoured servants (21:27); or (b) transition from one object of discourse to another as in بَلْ تُؤْثِرُوْنَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا : But you prefer 84
