بصر بشر كُمْ بَشِيْرٌ وَنَذِيرٌ : So a bearer of glad tidings and a warner has indeed come to you )5:20( أَرْسَلَ الرِّيَاحَ بُشْرًا : Who sends the winds as glad tidings )25:49( فَبَعَثَ اللَّهُ النَّبِيِّينَ مُبَشِّرِيْنَ وَمُنْذِرِينَ : So Allah raised Prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners He sends the winds as bearers of : يُرْسِلُ الرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَاتٍ (2:214) glad tiding )30:47( وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُسْفِرَةٌ مُسْتَبْشِرَةٌ : On that day some faces will be bright, laughing, joyous (80:39,40). بَصُرَ ]aor. يَبْصُرُ and بَصِرَ aor. يَبْصَرُ inf. noun بُصْرٌ and 1) : [ بَصَارَةٌ( He saw he became seeing. فَبَصُرَتْ بِهِ عَنْ جُنُب : So she observed him from afar (28:12); (2) he was or became endowed with mental perception or belief or firm belief or knowledge, understanding, intelligence or skill. بَصُرَهُ وَ بِهِ or بَصَرَ بِهِ or أَبْصَرَهُ : He perceived it mentally; he knew it or understood it. بَصُرْتُ بِمَالَمْ يَبْصُرُوْا بِهِ : I perceived (or knew) what they perceived not (2097) : He opened his eyes; he made him to see or to have mental perception or knowledge. جَعَلَهُ بَصِيْرًا : He made him seeing. يُبَصَّرُوْنَهُمْ : They will be brought within sight of one another; they will be made to see one another )70:12( أَبْصَرَة )inf. noun إِبْصَارُ as also بَصِرَبِهِ : He made him see; he saw or became seeing. رَبَّنَا أَبْصَرْنَا وَسَمِعْنَا : O our Lord, we have seen and we have heard. )32:13( أَبْصِرْ إِلَيَّ : Look at me. أَبْصِرْبِهِ وَاَسْمِعُ : How Seeing is He and how Hearing )18:27( أَبْصَرَ : He saw it also means he relinquished infidelity and adopted the true belief. مَنْ أَبْصَرَ فَلِنَفْسِهِ : He who sees, it is for the good of his own soul )61:05( اِسْتَبْصَرَ : He endeavoured to see or perceive mentally; he had or was endowed with intelligence or knowledge or understanding. مُسْتَبْصِرٌ )act. par. ) : One who has intelligence or knowledge. كَانُوا مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ : They were sagacious or wise or intelligent. اِسْتَبْصَرَ : It )a road) became plain, clear, manifest اِسْتَبْصَرَ الْاَمْرُ : The matter became clear. بَصَرٌ )plural( )أَبْصَارُ( : The sense of sight; the light whereby the organ of sight perceives the things; knowledge. زَاغَ الْبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَى : The eye deviated not, nor did it wander )53:18( فَبَصَرُكَ الْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ : And sharp is thy sight this day )50:23( أَبْصَارُ plural (singular بَصَرٌ( : Eyes. لَعِبْرَةً لِأُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ : A lesson for those who have eyes. )3:14( لَا تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَبْصَارُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ 71
