FOOTNOTE 1 (From page 5) This statement is according to the Hadith in which the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "The Mahdi and the Promised Messiah who shall appear will bear my name and will not have a new name. ” Meaning, he will not make a new claim of prophethood or messengership. Instead, as has been determined from the beginning, he will wear the cloak of the Prophethood of Muhammad by way of reflection, will live his life according to his, and will be buried in his grave after death so that it may not seem as if he has a separate existence or that some other messenger has appeared.
