142 BARĀHIN-E-AHMADIYYA false doctrines and baseless whims. Do not waste the precious moments of life. This world is transient; do not be enamoured with it. These joys are not forever; do not become heedless on their account. عیش دنیائے دوں دے چند ست آخرش کار با خداوند است The pleasantries of this lowly life are for a few moments; In the end, you have to face Allah the Almighty. ایں سرائے زوال و موت و فناست هر که بنشست اندریں برخاست This world is an abode of separation, death and decay; Whoever comes here, has to leave. و از خموشان آن به پرس نشاں یک دے رو بسوئے گورستان Go visit the graveyard for a while, And ask the dwellers how they are. که مال حیاتِ دنیا چیست ہر کہ پیدا شدست تا کے زیست [Ask them] 'What is the final outcome of the worldly life; How long does a living being survive?' تانه کارت کشد بسوئے ضلال ترک کن کین و کبر و ناز و دلال Stay away from malice, arrogance, boasting and coquetry, So that you save yourself from being led to an evil end. چوں ازیں کار که به بندی بار باز نائی دریس بلاد و دیار Once you depart this world, You will never come back to these cities and countries.
