MISCELLANEOUS NOTES مَا يَفْعَلُ اللهُ بِعَذَا بِكُمْ إِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ وَآمَنْتُمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًا - Page 135, Sūrah an-Nisa' إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ الْقُهَا إِلَى مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِنْهُ فَأْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَ Page 139, Sūrah an-Nisa, Part 62 رُسُلِهِ وَلَا تَقُولُوا ثَلَثَةٌ إِنْتَهُوا خَيْرًا لَكُمْ لَكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا 3 141 Page الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَ اَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَ يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوْمِينَ لِلَّهِ شُهَدَاء بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَانُ قَوْمٍ عَلَى الَّا تَعْدِلُوا اعْدِلُوا هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوى وَاتَّقُوا اللهَ إِنَّ اللهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ Page 143, Sūrah al-Ma'idah, Part 6. إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَ ابْتَانِ ذِي الْقُرْبي يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّهَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنْصَابُ وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَنِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لعلكم Page 161, Sūrah al-Ma'idah تُفْلِحُونَ 553 1. Why should Allah punish you, if you are thankful and if you believe? And Allah is Appreciating, All-Knowing. (Sūrah an-Nisā, 4:148). [Publisher] 2. Verily the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah and a fulfilment of His word which He sent down to Mary, and a mercy from Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers, and say not 'they are three. Desist, it will be better for you (Sūrah an-Nisā', 4:172). [Publisher] 3. This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favours upon you and have chosen for you Islam as religion. (Sūrah al-Ma'idah, 5:4). [Publisher] 4. O ye who believe! Be steadfast in the cause of Allah, bearing witness in equi- ty; and let not a people's enmity incite you to act otherwise than with justice. Be always just, that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah. Surely Allah is aware of what you do. (Sūrah al-Ma'idah, 5:9). [Publisher] 5. Verily, Allah enjoins justice, and he doing of good to others; and giving like kindred (Sūrah an-Nahl, 16:91). [Publisher] 6. O ye who believe! intoxicants and games of chance and idols and divining ar- rows are only an abomination of Satan's handiwork. So shun each one of them that you may prosper (Sūrah al-Ma'idah, 5:91).
